Creating synergies in the fruit and vegetable sector

At VOL Ortofrutta, we believe that success is also built through collaborations. We are open to an active and constructive dialogue with different realities, from farms to distributors, from researchers to trade associations. Our mission is to continually evolve and offer our customers high-quality products while contributing to the sustainability of the fruit and vegetable sector.

By collaborating with strategic partners, we can expand our knowledge, streamline processes, and share best practices that lead to more efficient outcomes for all. We believe that working together will help us better inform the market, respond to consumer needs, and meet the challenges of the future with greater determination.

CO.DI.PA. CONSORTIUM AND UNIVERSITY OF VERONA Advanced training and refresher course "Risk Management in Agriculture"

In 2023, we collaborated with the CO.DI.PA. Consortium and the University of Verona to develop a continuing education and professional development course entitled "Risk Management in Agriculture." This 42-hour program is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the main sources of risk in the agricultural sector, as well as strategies to manage them effectively. With a specific focus on insurance intermediaries and agricultural entrepreneurs, the course focused on risk management, addressing operational, strategic, financial and environmental risks, and offering useful skills and tools for prevention and protection in agriculture.

The participation of VOL Ortofrutta underscored the importance of investing in training to improve professionalism in the fruit and vegetable sector and promote the progress of the entire industry. We strongly believe in enhancing the value of our area and the people who are dedicated to this work on a daily basis.
